Here at My Designer Bag its been a while since the last post, as things were cooling off a little, but they're hotting up once again as the Spring approaches and the year gets back into full swing after the Winter blues have dissipated!
What is this post all about, with the tempting title of Designer Bags for Style looming across the top? Well, its more of a ramble about the impeccable styling and quality of genuine designer bags as opposed to the more rough finishing and presentation of the fakes which are increasingly being passed off as the real thing.
So in a way, its a timely reminder to be on your guard for fake designer bags, while embracing the latest designs to have appeared in the stores since Christmas, when everyone seems to have been more intent on clearing out last year's fashions in readiness for the explosion of new styles for 2009.
The ever popular Miche Bags with their interchangeable insides are becoming more and more sought after while the ever present big names such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi et al are continually redesigning and reshaping to keep the shelves stocked with ever more stylish and desirable bags. So its a time to keep one eye on the stores and the other eye on the online outlets and fashion news sites for the earliest word on that newest Louis Vuitton, or Jimmy Choo or the very latest bags to emerge from the Balenciaga or Vera radley stables.
Don't expect bargains from any of these top names, by the way, because you will certainly have to pay for what you get. And what you will get will be a timeless fashion statement that will turn heads and cause spontaneous whispers along with widened eyes and surprised faces! Because when you invest in a genuine designer bag, you are investing in your look, which is as important as it ever was, ever is and ever will be!

My Designer Bag - Another Store
I got accepted as an affiliate of the giant US store, FranklinCovey. So I have added that store to my Squidoo lens at Designer Bag.
I've also posted another interesting article there about how to tell a fake designer bag from a genuine one which should come in very useful should you be in the market for a new designer bag and not want to be caught out by a cheap fake.
