Around three years ago, Michelle Romero owned a handbag she really liked. Then she went and spilled something on it. She was upset that she'd have to transfer the contents of her purse, then replace it with a brand new bag. Well, Michelle showed it to her friend Annette Cavaness, who immediately fell in love with the concept. The two of them developed a business plan. They contacted a patent lawyer as well as a sourcing agent who helped them to find a factory in China to produce the bags. That led to the creation of what we now know as the Miche Bag.
